Incetta di medaglie per il Ticino all’Expovina di Zurigo. Conquistate anche due prestigiose Gran Medaglia dOro e 17 dargento
Il Ticino vitivinicolo ha fatto incetta di medaglie al concorso internazionale Expovina di Zurigo, conquistando addirittura due prestigiose Gran Medaglia dOro, 10 medaglie doro e 17 dargento. Un risultato che conferma leccellenza dei vini ticinesi e premia il lavoro svolto nel vigneto e in cantina con passione e competenza.
“Questo risultato – ci dice il direttore di Ticinowine Francesco Tettamanti – un’ulteriore conferma dell’elevato livello qualitativo raggiunto dai vini ticinesi. Le due grandi medaglie d’oro ci fanno particolarmente piacere in quanto si tratta di meriti elevatissimi a livello qualitativo. Sono premi che in genere vengono dati a vini provenienti da regioni particolarmente vocate. Basti pensare che solo 16 vini su oltre 2000 hanno ricevuto questo ambitissimo riconoscimento”.
Il concorso, gestito secondo i principi dellOrganizzazione internazionale della vite e del vino (OIV) seguito dallUnione svizzera degli enologi per quanto riguarda la parte tecnica, ulteriore garanzia della seriet e della professionalit delle giurie, che questanno hanno esaminato ben 2071 vini provenienti da una quindicina di nazioni.
I due riconoscimenti pi prestigiosi sono stati ottenuti dalla Fratelli Corti di Balerna con il Salorino 2006 (colore rosso rubino intenso con profumo complesso ed elegante con note speziate, frutta matura e vaniglia, al palato ha corpo pieno e gradevole, ben strutturato ed equilibrato, ricorda la frutta rossa matura) e dallazienda vitivinicola Pelossi & Co di Pazzallo con il loro Agra Collina dOro Merlot Riserva (affinato in barriques, di un bel rosso intenso con riflessi violacei, intenso, di buona complessit ed elegante, con buona struttura). I due vini hanno ottenuto il punteggio di 93 punti su un massimo di 100.
A rendere il successo ancora pi significativo il fatto che tra i 2071 vini solo 16 hanno ottenuto la Gran Medaglia dOro, con un punteggio massimo assoluto di 94,2 punti attribuito allo spagnolo Terra dUro, Toro DOC 2005, Bodegas Taurino, e al vallesano Grains de Malice Matre de Chais 2005, Valais AOC, Provins Valais, Sion.
